How to Play

Basic Kabaddi Rules

  • Each match consists of a set number of raids (e.g., 20 total, 10 for each team).
  • Teams take turns sending a single player (the Raider) into the opponent's half.
  • The Raider's goal is to tag one or more defenders and return to their own half safely. Each defender tagged is one point.
  • The Defenders' goal is to stop the raider from returning, tackling them to the ground. This earns the defense 1 point.
  • Revival: For every point your team scores (either by raiding or defending), one of your “OUT” players comes back onto the mat.
  • Do or Die Raid: If a team has two “Empty Raids” (raids where no points are scored by either side), their third raid is a “Do or Die” raid. The raider must score a point, or they are out.
